Proudly serving area farmers since 1927, we continually recognize our local farm families and the important role the agri-business industry plays in our local community and economy.
Our agricultural lenders have over 50 years of combined agricultural lending experience and understand the ups and downs of farming. We know that flexibility and adaptability are essential when working in partnership with farmers to help you successfully meet your goals. To maximize the resources available to farmers, we work closely with the USDA Farm Service Agency, the Adult Farm Business Management Program, the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Rural Finance Authority and several other programs and businesses that are involved with the Agriculture Industry.

“I have been employed in the banking industry my whole career, and my specialty is agricultural business lending. I grew up on a dairy farm near Browerville, MN. Through my years on the farm I acquired a good understanding of the agriculture industry. I was formally educated at St. John's University, earning a bachelor's degree in Business Management.”
Senior Agricultural Lender
“I service and work with agricultural loans throughout Southern Minnesota. I grew up on a grain and livestock farm near Danube, MN, and graduated from Alexandria Area Vocational School in 1979 with a degree in Finance and Credit Management. My agricultural lending career began in the early 1980s. Around that time I also began farming with my father and brother, raising crops and hogs. I got into community banking in 1995 and have been a full-time agricultural lender ever since.“
“I was raised on a beef and crop farm northeast of Long Prairie and went on to college at Moorhead State University, where I received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. For 11 years, I worked as an Ag Lender for a local Credit Union until joining the Pine Country Bank team in June 2014. Agriculture has always been my love and interest, and I understand the importance of it locally and world-wide. With my family, I run a beef cow/calf operation and raise crops for the cattle, which has given me a niche in being able to relate directly to the challenges associated with farming.”
“I grew up near Upsala, MN. During my youth, I spent much of my time helping on my grandparents’ Century Farm near Avon, MN. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Saint Cloud State University and have been employed in the banking industry since 1994. Currently, I am a Loan Officer at Pine Country Bank.”
“I have been with Pine Country Bank since November 2012. I was raised on my family’s century dairy farm near Bowlus, MN, in Morrison County. My time helping on the farm, participating in 4-H and serving as a Morrison County Dairy Princess helped develop my passion for and understanding of the agriculture industry. I graduated from Royalton High School and attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science, Pre-Veterinary Medicine. Following college, I worked as a journalist for the Dairy Star Newspaper. My family and I also farm and operate a Gold’n Plump chicken barn.”
Chad Van Beck
“I have 24 years of financial experience in the area and started as an intern, holding several positions including Senior Lender and Business Lending Manager overseeing a team of Lenders. I enjoy lending because I get to interact with people and be a part of their success.”
